It leads the development of national best practice and industry information, training and extension tools for parasite management and engages industry participation in this process.

About the Role

The ParaBoss Technical & Extension Manager will prepare and present extension, communication and evaluation materials in ruminant parasitology, build industry networks and collaborative opportunities, provide technical knowledge and contribute to administration and budgets.

Skills and Experience

This position would suit someone with experience in the Australian sheep industry, especially as a large animal veterinarian or DPI sheep extension officer. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in science, agriculture or agribusiness, with sound to strong knowledge and experience in sheep (and/or cattle) management systems and strong interest in applied ruminant parasitology.
